Food for thought on Thanksgiving 2009:
What would each day be like if we started out by taking inventory and then giving thanks for it?
What would happen if we had to take all of the world's suffering (war, earthquake, famine, AIDS, blindness) and equally distribute this suffering so that each person on the planet has an equal share?
Gratitude turns what we have into so much more: It turns a meal into a feast, a house into a home, and a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life by transforming our lives and transferring our energy to a higher power.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates new vision for tomorrow.
