Gonna get a couple of these w/in a year or two. Still recall back in the day when I got my brand new 386-25 and installed a custom, MASSIVE 80 GB HD. Figured it would last me a couple of years. I filled it w/in a day.

You filled 80 Gig in a day? That's pretty impressive.
Oops. Meant MASSIVE 80 MB HD. (was being sarcastic, tho back when was considered pretty good). Certainly not a GB HD. Back then, there were no 80 GB HD. Heck there were no GB HDs. My bad ...

BTW: I now own three 2 TB HDs. Each TB HD is actually two 1-TB HD combined and connected via USB into the PC. One is my MAIN, and other two are for backup only.

Mine is kinda like these:

Difference is that, in Japan, you purchase the USB external case you like. Then you install in it two 1-TB HDs of your own choosing. Extremely convenient and cheap. Best way to do it since no one makes a 2 TB HD at this time. Slightly slower than getting a single drive. However recommended. Also, easy to back up all your data.

Price of HDs going down so fast, makes my head spin. I got a 1 TB drive last year. Cost in dollars was about $200 in Tokyo. Now I see 1 TB HDs as cheap as $90, and saw a 1.5 TB HD for about $130. Unreal!
