Kyudo - Japanese archery
Kyudo is called the way of the bow. It is listed as one of the oldest martial arts of Japan. It is seriously hard. It looks so passive and calm, but it is 80 % internal training in a way like Tai Chi, somewhat like Qi Gong. Controlling every movement, every breath, sending the arrow to the target, without any seemingly effort. Deceptive like Tai Chi, deadly as a Gun , meditatively peaceful as Zen, Yet The thought is One arrow, One life!.
In April of 2010 there will be the First Kyudo World Cup held in Tokyo Japan. There are very very very few Afriamericans involved in Kyudo. There is only One Black male in the world ranked Go-Dan ( fifth degree Black belt) by Japan. He is American. The only other Black in his league is a sister in France.
Also known as Zen Archery, Kyudo is a high level art which is unexplored by the Children of Africa. Read more about it here:

Yes, I am, One is Marcus, a Go-Dan in several Karate styles and the only Black Go-Dan in Kyudo. He is the big guy, he use to also fight in the UFC. Actually there are three of us, we had the largest group of Blacks at any Kyudo event, in the world. We should apply to the Guinness book for a record. hahahah

2010 Kyudo World Cup Taikai!
This is the Olympics of Kyudo ( Jaanese Archery) . The First World cup was held in Tokyo, Japan in April 2010. There were 22 countries in attendance for this event. The Bronze metal in the Individual competition was won by a new comer to the field, a Brother from West Philly.
