Predictably the looting has begun. So bad that one of the search and rescue teams reported having to suspend their efforts after nightfall losing precious time. The Russian search and rescue team who have contributed a lot thus far reported young men and boys walking around with machete's jacking any and everything moving or not moving. Reporter Diane Sawyer reported being surrounded by an angry Haitian mob. And this is only the tip of the iceberg as it is certain to get much worse as frustrations grow and some who were looking for an excuse to act in this manner.

Also it's now being reported that Haiti was warned close to two years ago of an impending major earthquake. Scientists cited enormous amounts of stress along the fault lines guilty of causing this mess. In Haiti's defense it may have not ben enough time to prepare for a 7.0 magnitude earthquake.
