If your anti-virus software is outdated you run the real risk of infection. This is supposed to be an especially nasty virus. For those without anti-virus software, there's a few high quality "free anti-virus software packages out there.

Here's one that comes highly recommended. Personally I'm a Webroot guy and prefer not to use the free stuff as there is one glaring limitation and that is the lack of customization.
